OUR STORY

Zeyit Afromontane Foundation is a non-profit organization that takes away carbon from the atmosphere by planting Olive Trees. ZafCANADA believes in sustainable grassroot initiatives and supports local communities by offering economical opportunities in environmental cleanups. Plastic waste is collected from river basins and landfills in and around Addis Ababa. The waste plastic is processed, graded, and shipped as raw material (PET) to Canadian Manufacturers.

PLANT OLIVES... CHANGE LIVES

Zeyit Afromontane Foundation was founded in 2022 in Edmonton, Alberta. The foundation is dedicated to planting olive trees in Ethiopia to combat climate change. We are a non-profit organization that depends on government funding and donations from the public. We believe that climate change is the biggest threat to our planet, and we want everyone to be able to do something about it. We are dedicated to improving the lives of people in Ethiopia through sustainable development. We work with local communities and partner organizations to implement projects that promote environmental protection, education, and economic development. We believe that the best way to fight climate change is by working together. This means Canadians and Ethiopians must work together, hand-in-hand in order to achieve positive results. The only way we can change our planet for the better is if we all work together.

ZafCANADA is planning to raise an estimated amount of $100,000 this year on Fund-raising campaigns. It will cost our organization an estimate of $5,000 to raise this. The money raised will be going to plant 20,000 Olive Trees. For further information, please contact Sador Ambaye, @587-712-8844. Our address is 12933 82 Street, Edmonton,AB. We are incorporated in Edmonton, Alberta.*
